Let’s talk about: Food – Vegan Eats

When I started this lil’ shindig, I knew I had to photograph the food (#TypicalInstagramFoodPicture).

There were several recipes and dishes that I put together that were too good to keep to myself.

One thing I love about the interwebs is the expansive range in recipes out there for all types of eating habits.

Whether you have a sweet tooth or are a person who can’t eat bread, there’s bound to be a recipe for you! Cue Pinterest recipe bingeing.

Pinterest is my #1 go-to for food.  My food board is so large that I’ve had to start categorizing recipes so they are easier to find!

When I decided to incorporate more plant based meals into my lifestyle, I knew I could count on that site to help me out.  I do plan my meals (even down to the snacks) so I’m not going to give you a breakdown of what I ate every single day, but I will share pictures of my favorite bits that I made (any that had a recipe attached to them will have a corresponding link – all pictures taken by moi).

Enough blabbering Dee, onto the pictures!

Quinoa Bowl with snap peas, spinach, mushrooms, onions, red peppers, jalepenos, avocado

Baba Ganoush – Eggplant dip with pita bread (recipe here)

Corn Chowder – recipe here – mine isn’t as pretty as the recipe, but it is oh so tasty =0)

Seitan tacos  with mango salsa and cilantro rice (don’t know what seitan is? Neither did I, at the time, honey!)

Tomato Soup – what a classic

Vegan Spring Rolls: ugh, guys, my pictures need HELP! lol But these were oh sooooo good! =0P

And don’t worry everyone, there will be lots of food pics/posts because, shoot! Food is goooood!
